Here's the very best album the Doors ever did, and this is a remixed, slightly different version. To me, that's not a bad thing. It's not like you can't listen to whichever you prefer, and keep them both. I consider this an extra Strange Days version, and I'm happy to have it/5().

General CommentI agree with you guys he is leaving his girlfriend but i think it means he doesnt want to see her cry, because it breaks his heart and thats why he cant see her face in his mind because he knows he will see her crying and he cant stand it, and thats why he says he wont need her picure until they say goodbye because when they say goodbye she will be crying but she wont be crying.

However, it’s the ominous keyboard-driven pop of the title track, “I Can’t See Your Face In My Mind” and “My Eyes Have Seen You” that present the Doors in the strongest form to date. The eleven minutes of “When the Music’s Over” remains one of the Doors’ most powerful and cathartic statements, riveting from its butterfly whisper to the scream of “We want the world and we want it now.”.

Many of the songs on Strange Days had been written around the same time as the ones that appeared on The Doors, and with hindsight one has the sense that the best of the batch had already been cherry-picked for the debut album. For that reason, the band's second effort isn't as consistently stunning as their debut, though overall it's a very.
